God's Word and the Logic of Man

This is the kind of post that gets one kicked out of the ministry, if in deed you are in the ministry and requires a discerning mind to understand and get the points.

First a short passage of Scripture: Isaiah 55:6-13


I. Gods Word
a. God is the first and most important aspect of this
b. Fundamentalists tend to focus on the Word part (as in the "inspired, plenary autograph document"
c. God however uses many varied translations
d. warning re clear corruptions

II. Gods ways are not our ways
a. understand scripture as bricks
b. do not have to fit the bricks together to an ediface
c. danger of mans logic

25TH ??!

I got my invitation to my twenty-fifth medical school reunion last week. I keep skipping the rare reunions I am invited to as if I will get another chance but at 25 there will not be any other chances. In some ways I cannot believe it has been that long. In other ways it has been.

Wow. What did I do with my career?
